From hive to office

How Inventis makes its own honey, with a little help from 150.000 colleagues.

The idea

Years ago, we were looking for a meaningful way to thank clients and partners. Not something ordered online or shipped from the other side of the world. Something local, sustainable, a little unexpected, but truly reflected who we are. That’s how we met a local beekeeper who placed several hives on the grounds behind our office.

Nearly 10 years later..

The bees stayed and so did the tradition. Season after season, the colonies grew. The forests, heathland and wildflowers around our office shape the honey they produce, making each harvest slightly different from the last. Every jar comes from the same place we work every day.

What it taught us.

Keeping bees teaches patience. You can’t rush a hive. You can’t force a season. You create the right conditions, stay involved and allow things to develop over time. Good partnerships work much the same way.

We call it slow value.

Because some things become better when they’re built to last. Long-term client relationships. Platforms that remain maintainable for years. Teams that stay involved after launch.

That’s the kind of value we’re interested in creating.

Different work.
Same instinct.

The bees aren’t a business strategy, but they do reflect something about Inventis. We care about what lasts and we’d rather make something well than make noise about it.

The same instinct shows up in the websites we build, the relationships we maintain, the support after launch, and the way we work with clients.

If you’ve received a jar of
Inventis honey...

... now you know where it came from.
And if you haven’t, perhaps it’s time to get in touch.
