What data do we collect from you and why?

Statistics

Google Analytics

When you browse our website, we store certain data in Google Analytics statistics. This data includes your browser type, IP address, the operating system you use, and the domain name of the website that referred you to ours. We use these statistics to analyze visitor browsing behavior and optimize our website for our users based on this.

Google processes this data in accordance with the EU US Data Privacy Framework, the framework that has governed data transfers to the United States since 2023. More information can be found in Google Analytics' privacy policy.

Leadinfo

To measure business use of our website, we use the service Leadinfo from Rotterdam. This service shows us company names and addresses based on the IP addresses of our visitors. The IP address itself is not included.

Advertising and retargeting

In addition to statistics, we use a number of tools to measure and optimize our advertising. These tools only place a cookie after you have given consent through our cookie banner.

Facebook pixel (Meta)

The Meta Facebook pixel is active on our website. This tool collects your IP address, device and browser data, and your behavior on our website after you have clicked one of our ads. We use this data for retargeting and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

The associated cookies (fr and _fbp) are retained by default for 90 days.

An individual data processing agreement with Meta is not possible. Meta operates under pre-established terms, namely Meta's Data Processing Terms and the Controller Addendum, which apply automatically when using their business tools.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure how visitors coming from LinkedIn use our website, and for retargeting LinkedIn users. This tool collects IP address, device and browser data, and page visits.

LinkedIn removes direct identifiers within 7 days. The remaining pseudonymized data is then deleted within 180 days.

LinkedIn uses a standard Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for this, which includes GDPR requirements and the European standard contractual clauses. For most business and marketing purposes, this DPA is part of the general terms of use.

Google Ads conversion tracking

When you fill in our contact form after arriving on our website via a Google ad, we register this as a conversion in Google Ads. This happens through cookies that Google retains by default for 90 days.

We also use the Google Conversion Linker. This technical tag ensures conversion data is correctly passed between pages on our website and has no separate purpose beyond this technical support function.

Contact information

Contact form

When you fill in the contact form on our website, we keep the data you enter. We securely store your first name, last name, phone number if provided, email address, message, IP address, and the time of submission. This is necessary to be able to contact you correctly.

To filter contact form submissions for spam, we use Akismet (Automattic). Akismet checks your message, email address, and IP address for spam and temporarily stores this data on secure servers in the EU and the US.

Automattic includes the European standard contractual clauses in its standard DPA to comply with the GDPR. Here you can find their privacy policy.

Collaborations

If you are a client of ours, we also store your contact and billing details. This data is necessary to ensure the collaboration runs smoothly.

Who do we share your data with?

As mentioned above, we use processors who, on behalf of inventis.be, are responsible for processing personal data.

For Akismet (Automattic), a standard DPA applies which includes the European standard contractual clauses. An individual data processing agreement is not available for Meta and LinkedIn. These parties set their own terms for how data is processed, as described above per tool.

Meta, LinkedIn, and Google are US-based companies. Transferring data to these parties requires an appropriate legal basis, such as the EU US Data Privacy Framework or the European standard contractual clauses. For the exact legal basis per party, we refer to the privacy statements of Meta, LinkedIn, and Google themselves.

Aside from these processors, only Inventis uses your data. We do not sell your data to third parties.

How do we protect your data?

Inventis places great importance on protecting your personal data and has therefore taken the necessary technical and organizational measures. We use a secure connection and store your data in a secure database. In this way, we aim to prevent theft, loss, or unauthorized access.

How long do we keep your data?

Inventis retains your personal data for up to 3 years after submitting a contact form. For retention periods of the advertising cookies, see the relevant sections above.
