Recreatex?
Recreatex is the ticketing and booking platform developed by Vintia and widely used by museums, zoos, cultural centres, swimming pools, sports centres and other leisure organisations across Belgium and the Netherlands. It supports the complete management of ticket sales, memberships, group bookings, reservations and visitor administration, making it the digital backbone of many public and private leisure organisations.

How do we integrate Recreatex?
While Recreatex comes with a standard webshop, it rarely reflects an organisation’s visual identity or meets the expectations of today’s online visitors. The default experience is often too generic, lacks brand recognition and is not always optimised for mobile devices.
Inventis helps organisations bridge that gap. We enhance the visual experience of the Recreatex webshop, ensure seamless technical integration and improve overall usability, all without modifying the platform’s underlying logic.
How does Inventis get the most out of Recreatex?
Recreatex supports CSS-based styling, allowing colours, typography, buttons and layouts to be customised without affecting the platform itself. Inventis extends your organisation’s branding throughout the webshop, ensuring visitors experience a consistent journey from your main website to the ticket shop.
We also optimise the webshop for smartphones and tablets, improve readability and accessibility, and test across all major browsers. For more advanced requirements, such as seasonal banners, event-specific visual elements or navigation between multiple webshops, we assess what’s possible within your version of Recreatex and, when needed, work directly with Vintia to implement the best solution.

Why invest in custom styling for your organisation?
Does this sound familiar? A visitor clicks “Buy Tickets” and suddenly lands on a page that looks completely different from the rest of your website. Different colours, different styling and a disconnected experience. For your organisation, that’s a missed branding opportunity. For your visitors, it’s a small but noticeable barrier.
If you’re using Recreatex and feel the standard webshop doesn’t reflect your organisation, Inventis can help. Whether you’re a museum, zoo, swimming pool, cultural centre or municipal leisure organisation, we know the platform inside out and understand what’s possible.

How can Inventis help?
Within Recreatex, we create a webshop that feels like a natural extension of your website. Using CSS-based customisation, we align colours, typography, buttons and layouts with your brand identity, creating a seamless experience from the first visit to the final purchase.
Beyond visual improvements, we optimise the webshop for mobile devices, improve accessibility and readability, and ensure compatibility across all major browsers. For more advanced customisations, such as seasonal campaigns, event-specific branding or navigation between multiple shops, we work together to determine what’s technically possible within your Recreatex environment and coordinate directly with Vintia whenever required.
Our approach
Every Recreatex project at Inventis starts with a thorough assessment. We identify which version of Recreatex your organisation uses, what testing environments are available and what can realistically be achieved within your budget.
From there, we work iteratively. Rather than delivering a fixed solution months later, we develop improvements step by step, allowing room for feedback and adjustments throughout the process. When structural changes require collaboration with Vintia, we take care of the communication and ensure the project continues to move forward smoothly.

A real-world example:
ZOO Antwerp
A great example of what’s possible can be found at Antwerp ZOO Foundation. For both ZOO Antwerp and ZOO Planckendael, Inventis completely redesigned the Recreatex webshop to match the branding of the main websites, resulting in a responsive, consistent and significantly more user-friendly experience.
In addition, we developed an integration with Recreatex that retrieves membership data, allowing subscribers to log in using their membership number and easily switch between family member profiles within a single account.
This project demonstrates that the gap between a generic ticketing platform and a premium digital brand experience can be successfully bridged.
