A digital platform that has been evolving with AB since 2013
For Ancienne Belgique, a website is much more than a place to announce concerts. Every day, hundreds of updates flow from Salesforce and ticketmatic into AB's digital platform. The website, the personal My AB portal, and the digital information screens are all powered by the same data source. Everything must remain accurate, up to date, and fully synchronized at all times.
Since 2013, Inventis has ensured that these systems work together as one integrated platform. What started as the development of a first website has grown into a partnership spanning more than thirteen years, during which the platform has been redesigned four times. Not because the previous website had reached the end of its life, but because AB itself continued to evolve.
As one of Belgium's best-known concert venues, Ancienne Belgique hosts hundreds of concerts every year for a diverse audience. Salesforce serves as the central platform for concert planning, editorial content, marketing, and production, while ticketmatic manages ticket sales. Inventis connects both systems with the website, enabling a continuous exchange of concert information, ticket data, and visitor preferences. As a result, visitors always have access to up-to-date information, personalized recommendations, and their tickets through one central platform.
From fragmented systems to
one central platform
When Inventis developed AB's first website in 2013, information was spread across multiple systems. Concert planning, ticketing, newsletters, and the website all operated separately. Although data was exchanged between these systems, there was no central place where all information came together.
As a result, the digital landscape was fragmented. Information had to be managed in multiple places, visitors did not always receive consistent information, and personalized communication was almost impossible.
As AB gradually centralized its digital operations within Salesforce, the role of the website evolved as well. Inventis helped build a digital platform that connects all systems and centralizes information, ensuring visitors enjoy a consistent experience across every touchpoint.
More than a website
We developed a digital platform that brings together Salesforce, ticketmatic, and a range of external services into one central solution. Thanks to seamless synchronization between these systems, concert information, ticket statuses, and editorial content are updated automatically. Staff only need to manage information once, while visitors always have access to the latest data.
The integration also significantly improves the visitor experience. Advanced search and filtering capabilities make it easy to discover relevant concerts. Through the personal My AB portal, visitors can access upcoming events, tickets, and their complete concert history.
To provide even more relevant concert recommendations, visitors can connect their Spotify, Apple Music, or TIDAL account within My AB. Together with their favorite artists and previously purchased tickets, this information forms the foundation of a personalized visitor experience.
Based on favorite artists, listening habits, and previous concert visits, the website automatically recommends relevant events and adapts the homepage to each visitor's individual interests. Rather than showing every visitor the same homepage, the platform presents content tailored to their personal music preferences.
This personalization extends beyond the website. Visitor preferences and interactions are synchronized back to Salesforce, enabling Ancienne Belgique to better tailor its marketing communications to each visitor's interests.
As a result, the platform not only supports the day-to-day operations of Ancienne Belgique but also helps the organization better understand its audience and communicate in a more personal and relevant way.

Thirteen years, four redesigns, one partner
For Ancienne Belgique, the website is not simply a communication channel, it is a core part of the organization's daily operations. Staff rely on the platform every day for concert information, ticketing, communication, and the management of digital information screens.
Since 2013, Inventis has redesigned the platform four times. Not because the partnership restarted each time, but because the organization continued to evolve. New technologies, changing visitor expectations, and additional integrations have all been incorporated into the same platform over the years.
This long-term approach allows Ancienne Belgique to continue investing in its digital platform without having to start from scratch each time. The platform continues to evolve alongside new technologies, integrations, and visitor expectations, while AB can remain focused on what matters most: delivering the best possible live music experience for its audience.
